1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Stitches In Reading for sewing classes, workshops, and Sew Day sessions.

By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings

• All bookings must be made in advance via our website, email, or booking system.

• A place is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

• Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Payments

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

• We accept payment via [insert payment methods, e.g. card, bank transfer, PayPal].

• Prices are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

4 What is your cancellation and refund policy?

As places on our sewing classes and workshops are limited, all bookings are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or transferred once booked.

Please ensure you are able to attend before securing your place.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, including illness, work commitments, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or alternative sessions.

In the unlikely event that Stitches in Reading needs to cancel a class or workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another available date.

5. Arrival Times

Please arrive a few minutes early so you have time to get settled, set up your sewing machine before we begin

Classes start promptly, so being ready to sew from the start helps you get the most out of your session.

6.End of Session & Packing Away

All classes finish at the advertised time. Participants are responsible for allowing sufficient time to pack away their sewing machine, equipment, and belongings before the end of the session.

To ensure sessions run smoothly and venues can be vacated on time, everyone must be packed up and ready to leave promptly at the end of class. If you require additional time to pack away, please begin doing so before the session ends.

7. Workshops & Sew Days

• Participants may bring their own projects.

• Advice and guidance will be provided, but completion of projects is not guaranteed within the session time.

• Students are responsible for their own materials unless stated in the course description.

8. Health & Safety

• All participants must follow health and safety instructions given during classes.

• We reserve the right to refuse participation if a student is behaving in a way that may be unsafe or disruptive.

9. Liability

• Participation is at your own risk.

• We are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to personal belongings during classes, except where required by law.

10. Materials & Equipment

• basic equipment may be provided unless otherwise stated.

• Students are required to bring their own fabric, thread, or tools depending on the class.

11. Changes to Classes

• We reserve the right to make minor changes to class content, tutors, or venue if necessary.

• Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.

12. Photography & Marketing

• I may occasionally take photos of class projects or sessions for marketing purposes.

• If you do not wish to be included, please inform me before the class begins.

13. Data Protection

• Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
