Looking for something just for you? Join my friendly 9-week Sewing Course, every Tuesday morning from 9.45am to 11.45am at The Weller Centre in Caversham — a wonderful way to get out of the house, learn a new skill, and enjoy some well-deserved me-time. You'll go from complete beginner to confident sewist, covering everything from threading your machine and mastering different seams, to putting in a zip, creating pleats and pockets, and working on a project of your very own choice. It's a lovely opportunity to meet like-minded people and have something to look forward to every Tuesday! Once you've completed the beginners course you can move on to my Intermediate Course, or if you can already sew you're welcome to join, to work on your own projects.

Please bring your sewing machine, an extension lead, thread, and fabric scissors to each class. Once we begin working on your chosen project, you'll also need to bring the sewing pattern and the fabric required to make it. Don't worry if you're unsure which pattern to choose or what materials you'll need—I will help you select a suitable pattern and advise you on the fabric and everything else you'll need when we get to that stage of the course.
